Realm Map

There are thousands of solar systems in the world of Second Galaxy. The map showing all the solar systems is called the realm map. However, since the world is so immense, even zoomed out, one can only see a corner of it on the map.

The player can enter the realm map by tapping Map on the main menu. After that, one can switch between solar system map and realm map by tapping the icon at the top left corner.

Search for a Solar System

The main purpose of realm map is to locate a solar system. The most convenient way is usually to search for it. There is a search box at the top of the realm map. Upon typing in some characters and tapping the magnifier, all solar systems with their names containing such characters with show up along with their distances from the player's current location.

Color-Coded Map

One can only use the search function if they know at least part of the solar system's name. When they don't know the names, but want to find solar systems with certain signatures, using the color-coded map is the best solution.

One can access this function by tapping the button at the bottom right corner of the realm map. All the available schemes will be shown in the drop-down menu, and choosing one will color-code the solar systems according to the chosen scheme:

Prosperity can be regarded as the recommended level of solar systems, for it affects NPC strength and quest reward there. The higher the prosperity, the harder battles one will encounter and the better rewards they can receive.

Security status is the security level of solar systems. In high security regions players are not allowed to attack each other, while in low security regions they can, only at the risk of drawing police. As for lawless regions, PVP fights are completely free.

Mining field level indicates the types of minerals one can get from certain solar systems. The higher the mining field level, the better minerals one can get through mining dispatch quests.

Wormhole level indicates how dangerous the wormholes in certain solar systems are. More dangerous wormhole usually means better rewards, but it also means a higher entry pilot level.

Infection stage shows whether or not a solar system is infected and if so, its stage of infection.

Alliance and Corp sovereignties show the current sovereignty owners of controllable solar systems.

Activity level indicates how crowded certain solar system is in terms of player activities. The higher the activity level, the less quest reward one receives from the same quest.

War status shows whether certain solar system is controllable. Controllable solar systems will be colorcoded with its current status like "at war" or "peace".

Upon switching schemes, the coloring of the dots representing solar systems in realm map will change immediately. With the help of the legend or tip at the bottom, players should be able to locate the solar systems of interest.

Special Marks

Certain solar systems in the realm map are marked with special icons so players can easily locate them. There are a series of different icons, but the most common ones indicate the solar system the player is currently in, the solar system where the player's Base is, and the solar system where the player's Corp Camp is.

Name Tag

Tap any of the dots in the realm map, there will be a pop-up operation panel for this solar system.  The solar system's basic info will be shown on the panel, and there are 4 buttons for common operations:
