Corp Production

Based on a corporation, Corp Production outputs various types of facilities, Capital Ships and their components but not regular ships or attachments.

 

Minerals, blueprints used in Corp Production and the procedure of that differ from Pilots' individual production. This article introduces how different they are in details.

 

Corp Production Lines

 

Corp Production lies on the Corporation panel and requires the corresponding management role to access and check out the status of all production lines.

 

Each corporation has one production line by default provided by Star Ocean Production Heavy Industry Association [S.O.P.H.I.A.], which the corporation can start production with. For more production lines, the corporation needs to use the available production line to build an Assembly Center and deploy it in a sovereign solar system of the corporation.

 

Corp Production Procedure

 

Corp Production shares the same sequence with Pilots' individual production. That is, consuming minerals required by a blueprint and receiving output over time, whereas there are three major differences:

 

Firstly, Corp Production consumes not blueprints. This is due to the fact that blueprints used in it are provided by the in-game system. When a corporation owns more and more sovereign solar systems, blueprints of higher class products will be unlocked one after another and available in the blueprint gallery.

 

Secondly, Corp Production manufactures not products but components which can be assembled into products.

 

Lastly, Corp Production consumes exclusive minerals that can only be extracted by Refineries in sovereign solar systems or purchased from other corporations through Corp Business.

 

Note production of Level 1 corp facilities consumes no minerals. Corp members only need to pay S.O.P.H.I.A. production fees to initialize a production project.

 

Corp Facilities

 

So far, apart from modules in variety, there are 9 types of corp facilities, 4 Capital Ships and more than 10 Capital Ship components as final products.    Let's start with the 9 Corp Facilities:

 

A Solar System Base increases Encounter and Dispatch quest rewards, and is the prerequisite for deployment of other facilities in a certain solar system. It's the most fundamental facility in terms of Corp Production.

 

A Refinery outputs minerals used in Corp Production based on the Prosperity Level of a certain solar system with fixed mineral types. The higher Prosperity Level, the more mineral output.

 

An Assembly Center increases production lines available in a certain solar system. Capturing more sovereign solar system to deploy more of this significantly boosts production efficiency.

 

A Watchtower can be used to scan out and locate non-friendly players in a certain solar system. This allows the sovereignty owner to clear out incoming enemies.

 

A Capital Shipyard provides docks for Capital Ships, where they cannot be distributed to corp members until they are docked in.

 

A Trade Port is the prerequisite for Corp Business, and where Corp Purchase orders can be posted and transporters set sail.

 

A Jump Portal Generator can generate jump portals to allow allies to jump in. Deployment of multiple Jump Portal Generators allows for regular spot-to-spot jumping.

 

A Jump Portal Inhibitor prevents any Shipboard Jump Portal Generator from working in a certain solar system but has no impact on Jump Portal Generators.

 

Capital Ships

 

So far, there are 4 Capital Ships that corp members can build, similar to the Corp Production procedure, by manufacturing first and then assembling Capital Ship components. 4 Existing Capital Ships:

 

The Taotie Capital Ship with the blueprint provided by the ECD. Its specialized Strike Enhancement Module provides enhanced short-range attack ability and great firepower of plasma attack.

 

The Corona Capital Ship with the blueprint provided by the RS. Its specialized Sniper Enhancement Module provides enhanced long-range attack ability and great firepower of salvo attack.

 

The Minaret Capital Ship with the blueprint provided by the OE. Its specialized Shipboard Jump Portal Generator can open up a space rift up ahead that enables fleet portal jumping.

 

The Aegis Capital Ship with the blueprint provided by the NEF. In addition to its impregnable defense, its specialized Warp Disruption Field Generator can prevent any ship within a range of 40km from activating warp engines.

 

Capital Ship components are those attachments that can be installed on Capital Ships. Their production procedure and usage are similar to regular components.

 

Conclusion

 

Corp Production is similar to individual production in terms of turning minerals into products. But they differ in mineral type, source of blueprints, production procedure and final product.

 

With the blueprints available so far in the game, there are 9 corp facilities, 4 Capital Ships and over 10 Capital Ship components that can be built by corp members. More information regarding the usage of these products will be introduced in facilities and Capital Ships themed articles.
